Eastern NC Paint Decorated Blanket Chest,
early 19th c., yellow pine dovetailed construction, remnants of whimsical designs in red, white and blue paint on top, front and sides, interior painted red. A good example of Southern painted furniture. 17.75" x 43.5" x 16.5" Condition reportWorn surfaces, 4" split on lid, replaced hinges need re-working. Missing base.
