Southern Transitional Hepplewhite Semi-Tall Chest,
probably West Virginia, ca. 1800, figured maple with poplar secondary, exposed half blind dovetailed case, with graduated drawers, the case having scratch beading above and below the drawers, skirt with deep central scallop, with bracket feet, an unusual feature is the full width dust boards. 47.5" x 38.5" x 20" Condition reportReplaced brasses but early locks, some surface spotting, patch to right rear corner, replaced glue blocks, wood loss to back left.
