oil on canvas, signed lower left "J. J. Enwright," [a pseudonym for Hjalmar (Cappy) Amundsen, who was painting scenes of Provincetown and Gloucester, Massachusetts], a very fine impressionist depiction of a New England harbor with figures, sailboats, and buildings along the docks, verso of canvas bears artist's copyright stamp, presented in an attractive period appropriate carved and gilt wood frame. Provenance: Private collection. The Greenwich Gallery, Greenwich, CT. SS 19.5" x 25.75"; DOA 27.25" x 33.25"
