Four Richard Blome Hand Colored Engravings,
from "The Gentleman's Recreations" (London: 1686), depicted are the following sporting scenes: "Hunting of Wild Boars", "The Death of ye Hare thro Fleet Hound", "Earthing the Fox" and "Hunting the Otter", each dedicated to a nobleman, having his crest centered in the lower margin. Professionally matted in modern wooden frames. Richard Blome (1635 - 1705), known for his maps, also published an extensive series of prints devoted to hunting, fishing, horsemanship and falconry. SS - varied matting, averages 12.5" x 8"; DOA 16.5" x 11"

Light soiling and a very few small stains consistent with age.
