vasiform hot water jug with fluting on lower body, raised on a circular foot, beaded edge to foot and mouth, hinged cover with ball finial, wooden handle, London hallmarks and "IS" sponsor's mark (similar to that of John Schofield, working in London ca. 1778-1780), bright cut engraved shield within a wreath cartouche. 11.5" 26.45 troy ozs. Condition reportEstate condition - light surface scratches, loss to spur on handle.
