ornate silver and gilt design with pierced decoration and floral repousse motif, five pieces including: coffeepot (11.25"), pierced shaker (13.5"), pierced pomander on undertray, small lidded urn with central scent or oil reservoir, rectangular serving tray (18" x 12.75"), all housed in a fitted presentation case with royal blue velvet lining and white satin, no apparent hallmarks, with original presentation note reading "To Admiral and Mrs. Moorer / Chairman J.C.S. / With Compliments / Chief of General Staff / Gen. Mubarak A. G. Al Sabah / Kuwait Army" Provenance: Admiral Thomas H. Moorer. approximately 109 total troy ozs.
