Lucy Qinnuayuak, Child With Captive Bird,
(Inuit, 1915-1982), stone cut on paper, depicts a child with a captive pelican fighting with another pelican over a fish, the free pelican has an owl perched on his neck, exquisite colors ranging from olive green, blue, and burgundy, titled in lower left corner "Child with Captive Bird," signed "Stone Cut #9/50," "Cape Dorset N.W.T," and signed in the lower right corner "Lucy," nicely matted and framed. SS 16" x 28", DOA 28" x 40"
