Theodore Deck faience lamp,

spiral urn form with teal colored glaze, impressed "TH Deck" inside foot, ormolu wave motif banding, swag handles and footed square base, wick adjustor marked "Hinks No. 2 Duplex", French, late 19th century, 17 in., with etched 7-3/4 in. globe (possibly original). Minor solder repair to globe mount, other small dents, minor corrosion to gilt elements, otherwise excellent condition. Joseph Theodore Deck (1823-1891) was one of the leading French ceramicists of his day.
