shelf clock, bronze pediment with classical figure of seated youthful hunter or soldier with lance, cape, shield and dog, elaborate ormolu mounts with Egyptian motifs, clock face marked "Lepine a Paris", brass works marked "Medaille d'Or Paris 1837", French, 19th century, 25 x 18 x 6-1/4 in. Good condition, mellow old patina with traces of original ormolu, with several keys, lacking pendulum. Provenance: Private Collection, Burgaw, North Carolina
