gilt wood with shaped and variegated marble top over shell carved and pierced skirt, cabriole legs, probably 19th century, 38-1/4 x 41 x 20-1/2 in. Some wear and losses to gilding with separations at seams, breaks and repairs to some carved elements with scattered retouch to gilding.
