rosewood lift-up lid, mahogany body, serial number 42742, made in New York, circa 1880, 6 ft. 1-1/2 in., with later cherry bench with cabriole legs. Sounding board with slight cracks, some dust, cabriole legs of piano probably later replacement, top and side with sun fading, lift-up lid with surface scratch, other minor abrasions and losses.
