three panels, five-window house with fence and trees below six-line verse between pairs of angels, below three urns with flowers, arcaded floral border at edges and dividing panels, small floral, bird and insect motifs throughout, lower chain of diamonds surrounding letters "…Amelia Parrot aged 9 years 1827", silk on linen, 20-3/4 x 15-3/4 in. (sight); bird's-eye maple frame. Losses at proper left border, slight fading, tears, scattered small holes, not examined out of frame (matting covers edges). Provenance: A Greenville, South Carolina Collection.
