Condition/Details: Bound in gray cloth, this antique book is a rare first edition of an important fiction work by Sinclair Lewis. "The Innocents" was one of two novels published in 1917. It was originally a collection of serialized stories for a women's magazine and was Sinclair Lewis's last distinctive pulp novel. The work is illustrated with a frontispiece illustration. The volume shows some mild external wear, with lightly toned pages. The book was in the collection of the Cleveland Book Club private library and bears their stamp and pocket. The book measures approximately 5" x 7.5" and contains 217 pages. Shipping cost (within the U.S.) for this lot will be: $4.50
