Condition/Details: Bound in gray cloth, this antique book is a rare first edition of an important fiction work by Sinclair Lewis. "The Innocents" was one of two novels published in 1917. It was originally a collection of serialized stories for a women's magazine and was Sinclair Lewis's last distinctive pulp novel. The work is illustrated with a frontispiece illustration. The volume shows some mild external wear, with lightly toned pages. The book was in the collection of the Cleveland Book Club private library and bears their stamp and pocket.
