Condition/Details: Bound in woven crimson silk boards with fancy cloth spine and gile embossing, this vintage book is a rare first edition compilation of the writings, in translation, of the wife of the Generalissimo of the Chinese National Government throughout most of the 20th century. The work is illustrated with many photographs. According to a printed notice, the book was printed on specially prepared hand-made Chinese bamboo paper. The volume shows some mild external wear, and is solidly bound with clear, lightly age toned pages. The book measures approximately 7.5" x 9.5" and contains 193 pages.
