JONATHAN TRUMBULL, Colonial Connecticut Governor.
Cut Signature, “Jonth Trumble,” on a slip of paper cut from a larger, official document, while serving in the Connecticut Assembly, January 20, 1755, Lebanon, CT, 1” x 5.75”, Fine. Trumbull signs with the original spelling of his family name, “Trumble.” Mounted and lightly soiled, but in otherwise good condition. Trumbull was the only colonial governor to support the colonial cause during the Revolution.
