Revolutionary War Receipt, March 23, 1780, no place, 3.5” x 8”, Fine.
Lt. Robt. Williams signs a receipt that he has received of Capt. Abraham Williams “one pair of Deerskin breeches for which I promise to restore him another pair as good or in failure thereof to pay him the full price which such Breeches shall cost by the first day of August 1780...” Uneven moderate toning.
