1777 Muster Roll of Captain Edward Bulkley, Good, 12” x 8,” heavily stained and in rough shape, with portions missing throughout (see scan). Nevertheless, most of the “meat” of this document is still legible, including dates and names of soldiers appointed and enlisted in Bulkley’s company. Bulkley’s family was from Hartford, Connecticut, presumably also the home to most of these enlistees. According to this Muster Roll, many of Bulkley’s soldiers were sick in the hospital!
