1782 & 1785, Two pieces of Connecticut Fiscal Paper, Very Good or better. 1. 1782 Treasury Office Certificate acknowledging an obligation to Asa Stael, a soldier in the Connecticut Line of the Continental Army. Hole-cancelled on the left side; the back has several tape repairs along fold splits. 2. 1785 Treasury-Office Interest Receipt for 10 Shillings “Hard Money” payable out of various Connecticut obligations.
