1788, “THE COMMEMORATION OF THE CENTENARY OF THE REVOLUTION,” Published by W. Bent, London, England, Choice Extremely Fine.
Handcolored 5.25” x 3.25” engraving on laid paper, with 3/4” to 1” margins. A beautiful print with rare color, and featuring a kneeling slave appealing to a maiden in flowing robes, standing against a backdrop with the Bill of Rights, Laws, and a castle in the distance. At the left, Britannia and a lion look on. An excellent example, perfect for framing and display.
