(AMOS DOOLITTLE), American Revolutionary War Patriot, Colonial Artist and Engraver. Uncolored copperplate engraving on fine-laid paper, 10.5” x 6.25” image, with wide margins, titled “Ceconia, wife of Caius Caesar,” Very Fine. “Engraved for the American Edition of Maynard’s Josephus.” Signed in plate, “Engraved by A. Doolittle New Haven” along lower right corner. Lightly toned page, perfect for framing and display.
