Overall size 9.5" x 15.25". Published in London by Alexander Hogg for use as an illustration in a book describing the voyages of English explorer Captain James Cook. A fascinating image of artifacts used by South Pacific Islanders in their ceremonies. Among the more interesting items is No. 5 “An Instrument with which they cut up their Prisoners"!
