Stunning Liverpool “Hibernia” Jug

c. 1790, LIVERPOOL PITCHER: “HIBERNIA,” Choice Virtually Mint.
9” high, 5& 3/8” base. An outstanding, cream-colored jug, with dark printed images of “Hibernia” on one side, and a three-masted ship on the other. The crowned Hibernia sits on the shore, surrounded by manufactured bundles, marked for export to America, France, Spain and elsewhere. The outer inscription reads: “Ye Sons of Hibernia rejoice in the Freedom of your extensive Commerce.” A stunning, outstanding example. The finest quality we have seen!
