1918 French WWI Silk Kerchief

1918 French World War I Silk Kerchief, Very Fine.
Listed as No. 1021 in “Threads of History" (see page 401), despite being of French origin. 11” x 10.5,” with a colorful border of international flags surrounding printed images of the principals in World War I (Wilson, Albert, Poincare, George V, Emmanuel III, G. Joffre, and Mr. French). Titled “Souvenir de la Grande Guerre 1914-1918.” Problem-free except that some of the colors have run. From the Mastai collection, with his red-ink stamps along the bottom edge (however, this is not the piece illustrated in “Threads", which is also attributed to Mastai).
