1759 Prussian Military Tobacco Box

1759 Prussian Military Tobacco Box, Choice Very Fine.
6.25” long by 1.75” wide by slightly over 1” high. Made of copper sides, with stamped brass tops and bottoms. Made specifically to honor Fredrerick the Great of Prussia and to commemorate the British and German victory at the Battle of Minden. Polished and cleaned, with some old, quality repair work on one of the corners. Otherwise, this piece is in excellent working condition and is suitable for display in a museum setting. Both the top and the bottom have great images, including a large image of Frederick and a neat battle scene on the bottom. Wonderful!
