Rare Uncut Pair of Blue Paper Counterfeit Detectors

January 14, 1779, Uncut Pair of 2 Notes, $1 & $2, Blue Paper Counterfeit Detectors, Very Choice Crisp Uncirculated.
A fabulous, colorful uncut original pair from the lower right corner of the original sheet. Vivid red and dark black printed text on choice quality blue paper make for exceptional eye appeal. Bold Gem in appearance with a huge right margin and Jumbo bottom sheet selvage fully intact, the left touching the outer border design. (Ex: EAN Mail Bid Sale of March 18, 1995, where it was then estimated at $1,100 to $1,250.) The first Uncut 1779 Issue pair we have offered since then and likely the only available!
