Early 20th C. Northern MI Hand Carved Folk-Art Pi

Horse & Sled, modeled as 2 draft horses pulling log sleds, the front log sled has a carved wooden rider with dark brown wool clothing, both the figure and the horses have real hair for mane and tails, both the horses figures and the sleds are mounted on a thin piece of painted wood, the entire carving does have original painted finishes, entire carving is 23" L x 7" W x 6-3/4" H. Condition: Logging sled may originally of had a log or 2 attached to it on the log support members, glue remnants on the back sled where an additional figure may have been attached, the entire carving shows patina and some of the string rope work is separated, some leather work appears to be very dry with some minor separations, the entire carving shows some dirt and could use cleaning, no other damage found.
