Pair of Early 20th C. Italian Terracotta Figures

One molded as a fisherman with hat and baskets standing on a rock, measuring 28" H; the other modeled as female carrying baskets on her head and in her hand standing on a stone plinth, both figures are hand painted, the female figure measures 25" H. Condition: The fisherman shows minor losses to the painted finish on the rock, the female basket carrier shows moderate losses to the painted finish on her dress, missing approx. 40%, additionally the baskets show moderate flaking, the base shows moderate flaking with losses, female figure has a retouched repair to her right elbow, no other damage found.brought back from italy in the 1920's
