Mid 20th C. Hand Painted Paper-Mache Clown Figure

The foot of the clown is inscribed Alvarez-Mexico, figure measures 18" H. Condition: Figure has small chip to the painted finish on the clowns nose, another area of wear to one of the buttons on the belly of the clown and the front bottom edge of the clowns shoe shows some wear, one the left arm holding an umbrella is cracked at the sleeve connection with some looseness and minor separation, overall figure is dusty, needs cleaning, no other damage found.
