Late 19th C. Dog head Walking Stick

Carved from a cherry tree branch, the dog head has glass eyes and the stick has its original German silver ferrell (tip of walking stick), stick measures 35" L. Condition: Moderate wear from previous use on the dogs head, 3/4" L shrinkage fracture with 1/16" separation starting at the dogs right eyebrow and extending to the back of the head, there is some minor bark losses halfway down the stick and again toward the tip, no other damage found.
