Oil on Board. Depicts a pleasant and beautifully executed country landscape, showing a flowering country pond surrounded by trees, 9-1/2" H x 13" W, placed in a late 19th C. gilded gesso over wood Victorian frame. Condition: Painting has been recently cleaned and re-varnished, black light examination reveals some very minor touch-ups in the foliage areas, affecting less than 2% of the entire surface area, the gilt frame does show moderate wear to the corners.
