Depicts ships in a harbor, 19" W x 13-1/4" H, Signed in LR, back of canvas has a Dutch clipped newspaper article with artist information dated 1933, the stretcher has an additional inscription with artist name and a date of 1930, painting has been placed in a early 20th C. gilt plaster on wood frame. Condition: Painting has original varnish which is turning slightly yellow, black light examination reveals no restoration, the frame itself has some very minor plaster losses, nothing additional.
