Antique Mahogany Display Cabinet, made circa 1870. Featuring two sliding lift doors, deep adjustable shelves, four drawers, four sliding wood paneled doors and delicate carvings. This cabinet and a similar one (lot 141) which we are selling today came to us (along with two others which are used for product display at the McKenzie Childs Retail store at the factory in Aurora, N.Y.) from a 19th c. jewelry store in Northern New York State. The finish is excellent and original. Everything is in proper working order. This cabinet is ideal for a retail display of items which require protection from theft or abuse as well as for display of your collection - being completely enclosed while also keeping your treasures dust free. It measures 8' tall x 8' long x 20" deep.
