Powder Horns
c. 1800, Plain powder horn, Fine. A simple, but attractive, horn. approximately 6” from butt to tip, The butt end is plugged with a wooden plug. Light to dark olive in color with a .75" x .25" defect on the base of the horn. Possibly Colonial, but more likely from the Civil War period. ImagesClick on thumbnails to see larger images:
