19” x 11.25”, Eight pages (front and back). Introduction to the Blaeu atlas, outlining Chapters I to IX, in Latin. With three hand-colored engraved depictions of the solar system and one of a windrose. Lightly toned and minor soiling. As usual, the Blaeus used the best paper and a high standard of printing.
