MARY JO SEYMORE BY MIKE DISFARMER. 5 ½" x 3 3/8" gelatin silver print, vintage, early 1940's. Her name is written in pen on verso. Quintessential image of the G.I.'s sweetheart, patriotic, innocent, softly erotic. She wears a ring and sports her man's insignia as well as his hat. One of the most charming and emblematic of Disfarmer's portraits. Prooperty of a woman from the Heber Springs area. Slight wear to edges. [3]
