WORLD OF AMERICAN PHOTOGRAPHY BASEBALL CARDS. 81 of the set of cards made in 1975 by Mike Mandel for Topps Chewing Gum. A great survey of the photographic scene, major photographers as well as those less well known today, critics and others. Each has a photograph of the individual as a baseball player, with statistics including Favorite Camera, Film, Paper, Developer and favorite photographer, plus a quotation. The answers are sometimes revealing, sometimes witty. Most of the major figures are here, such as Ansel Adams, Harry Callahan, Van Deren Coke, Lee Witkin, Arthur Siegel, Minor White….. [4]
