Aquatint with etching. c1916-1918. Print #29 of intended edition of 100. Signed, dated and initialed in pencil by Lucille Deming Lewis, the artist's widow, lower right. Numbered in pencil, lower left. Signed in the plate, lower left. Full margins. 17 3/4 x 23 3/4 in. (451 x 603 mm). Sheet Size: 26 1/8 x 39 1/2 in. (664 x 1003 mm). A full edition of this restrike was planned but never completed. Print #29/100 is the highest numeration of the reprint on record. This print, identical in size to Above the Yards, Weehawken, is the largest work in the artist's oeuvre. Mr. Kraeft represented the Martin Lewis estate. [M15].
