Etching. 1915. Signed and dedicated in pencil. Dated in the plate. 5 3/4 x 3 15/16 in. (146 x 100 mm). Sheet Size: 13 1/4 x 10 11/16 in. (337 x 271 mm). Stain overall and light foxing; tape remains, verso. Dedicated to "Mrs. Bertha Jacques," the founder and first president of the Chicago Society of Etchers. We acquired this print from James Swann, Chicago printmaker, who was assistant to Mrs. Jacques for many years. NK.
