A raccoon coat from the Cary Grant estate. Man's full-length raccoon coat, double breasted, wide lapels, cuffed sleeves, with satin, leather, and tweed lining. Reversible, with some wear at collar and wrist. Interior bears a brown tag with "5008" stamped in upper right corner, with typed and handwritten annotations: "Car Grant I B. C. 1171 / Black cloth coat / muskrat line / Raccoon Coat." Donated by Grant's widow, Barbara, to Animal Kind Rescue to be used to raise funds, and believed to be from an unknown Warner Brothers production. Sale History: Bonhams & Butterfields, November 2004
