Titled on verso, as well as the following inscription in pencil by the gallery who sold the work, "P. Proute, 16 Dec. 1944, 19.77". Provenance: current private consignor, Homer, LA who purchased it about 10 years ago from Hanna Mrozek, Forest Hills, NY; Paul Proute S.A. (Gallery), December 16, 1944 (sold for 1000 FF) - April 8, 1993 copy of a letter from Paul Proute to the then owner, Hanna Mrozek, regarding their sale of watercolor is in the customer file.

Very nicely done. Appears to be in good condition as viewed under room light in the unopened frame. Rf
