ATTRIBUTED TO ROBERT BRACKMAN (RUS./AMER., 1898-1980), OIL ON CANVAS, 40" X 24", "WOMAN WITH FRUIT":Cubism style image of a young woman, donning a kerchief and holding an apple in her right hand, standing next to a table that is surmounted by a bowl full of fruit. No apparent signature on the image, but the frame has a plaque affixed to the lower portion that reads "Woman with Fruit Robert Brackman 1898-1980". The verso is marked "Robert Brackman Noark Conn."; the back of the frame has remnants of a framing label at the top along with a "Sidney Wolf Paintings, Drawings, Prints" label and the lower portion of the stretcher has "Brackman" in graphite.

Some spotting/discoloration/age evident on verso of canvas; the overall condition of the painting appears to be good. RG
