Roger Sherman (1721-1793) and Samuel Huntington (1731-1796) Patriots and signers of the Declaration of Independence. 7 ¼" x 7 ¼" pay order, December, 1778, signed by both. "…Please pay unto George Pitkin…One hundred & twenty nine pounds & twelve shillings being the balance of his account for fees & expenditures…." J. Huntington has signed through their signatures. Roger Sherman is the only man to have signed all four of the most significant documents associated with the founding of the Republic: the Articles of Association, the Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation and the United States Constitution. Huntington served as a delegate to the Continental Congress where he signed the Declaration of Independence, as Governor of Connecticut, and later was the presiding officer of the Congress of the Confederation.
