Description
Eliphalet Dyer (1721-1807) Jurist. Dyer was a Connecticut delegate to the Stamp Act Congress, he was later a member of the Continental Congress. He was chief justice of Connecticut from 1789 until 1793. 7 ¼" x 11 ¾" financial document signed, also signed by Samuel Gray, Windham, Connecticut, January 7, 1751. The document is a bond indicating that Dyer and Gray are "…bounden in the sound of twelve pounds lawful money of Great Britain….
