Israel Ashley (1747-1814) Ashley was a physician who served as Surgeon of the 3rd Hampshire County Regiment during the Saratoga campaign in September and October 1777. 7 ½" x 4 ¼" document signed, March 26, 1767, as a witness to the signature of Isaac Lackert, who has signed a receipt.
