Charles Biddle (1745-1821) Pennsylvania statesman. Biddle served as Vice-President of Pennsylvania. During his term, he was an ex officio trustee of the University of the State of Pennsylvania. He was the father of Nicholas Biddle of banking and political fame. 14" x 12" vellum document signed, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, December 10, 1785. The document is a land grant from the Supreme Executive Council of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, granting a 297 acre tract of land to Michael Kaner.
