Prince William County, Maryland. 10 ½" x 7" document, May Court 1782 detailing action taken by the court, signed by Foushee Tebbs. The following is included: "...Thomas Chapman is allowed (four pounds) for Sundays 'to wit' horse and hand carrying Provisions to the Militia...To Negro Manuel assisting 2 days...William Hazlerigg is allowed...for a Gun furnished Continental Army. Thomas Attwell is discharged from paying taxes for Negroe Jude...." Lightly water stained at the margins.
