Jacqueline Kennedy (1929-1994) First Lady. 8" x 12 ½", two page, seating arrangement, drawn by Mrs. Kennedy, in pencil, for a dinner party at the White House hosted by the President and Mrs. Kennedy on March 15, 1961. The first sheet shows six tables and identifies each of the eight or nine guests to be seated at each table, the second sheet shows the remaining three tables. The lead individual and number of guests has been shown: "Lee 9" ( Jackie's sister Princess Lee Radziwell), "Jack 9", Lyndon 9", "Stas 8", "Me 8", "Lady Bird 8" and on the second page "Jean 9", "Ethel 9" and "Steve Smith 7." The other notable guests that Mrs. Kennedy has shown include: "Robert Kennedy, Lee, Sen Symington, President, Mrs. K, FDR jr, Stewart Alsop, Vice Pres, Lady Bird, Mr Shriver, Mr Bradlee, Mrs Robert Kennedy, Steve Smith…." Seventy-seven people are shown.
