Henry Clay Trumbull (1830-1903) Clergyman. Trumbull was ordained a Congregational minister, served as chaplain of the Tenth Connecticut Regiment in 1862-1865, and was in several Confederate prisons. In 1875 he became editor of the Sunday School Times. 5" x 8" autograph letter signed, Hartford, January 9, 1867, to "Bro Pratt." "…They evidently use Christmas differently in Indiana from New England….
