Alexander Webb (1835–1911) Union General. Webb won praise at Antietam and Chancellorsville. On the third day of Gettysburg he distinguished himself for his leadership in the face of Pickett's Charge, for which he won a Congressional Medal of Honor. 8 ½" x 5 ½" invoice from Eimer & Amend, March 1, 1889, approved while Webb served as the President of the City College of New York, "Alex S. Webb Pres."
