Cal Ripken, Jr. (1960- ) Ripken played in 2,632 straight games for the Baltimore Orioles. He had a remarkable career, notching 3,184 hits, 431 home runs, 19 straight All-Star appearances, and two Most Valuable Player Awards. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2007. The book, Play Baseball the Ripken Way, by Cal and Billy Ripken, Random House, 2004, first edition, signed by both on the title page. The dust jacket is unblemished.
